Brand Partnership Burton Snowboards

An emphasis on the importance of creativity, which is an essential element of snowboarding, within the brand promise “Creative use of Space” became the basis for a global sports marketing strategy which positioned MINI authentically within the world of snowboarding.

As lead agency, Millhaus handled the entire implementation of this campaign. We were responsible for everything from the branding concepts and on-location activation through to partnership and testimonial management, including advising national MINI distributors, as well as content creation and PR activities for both brands’ channels. The partnership enabled authentic integration of the MINI brand in top international sport events in the USA, Asia, Europe and Oceania and the media reach associated with them.  At the same time, through our co-operation with market leader Burton Snowboards, we ensured the global implementation of supporting campaigns including mailings, product placements in flagship stores, scene events, giveaways and roadshow concepts designed to generate leads and test drives.
