Season Campaign 2018/2019

Creation of a season campaign and application to various creative assets as well as the translation into a CD guideline including supervision of implementation.

The brand identity developed for FC Bayern München Basketball was implemented at the beginning of the 2018/2019 season. The playful design language as part of the accompanied season CD gives the FCBB a fresh dynamic. It also visually demonstrates the brand’s reorientation and by consciously setting itself apart from the very martial, fierce look so common in other sports today. The illustrations used will be continuously expanded throughout the season, responding quickly and individually to matchday mottos, opponents and hopefully also successes.

The official kick-off: the OoH campaign in Munich’s inner city, which places the hero players in the scribbles and thus opens up a striking contrast in urban environment. The accompanying claim “Munich is our Court” stands for the deep responsibility and identification of one’s own city, as part of the newly lived brand identity.

The entrance and season tickets, the team bus, the season magazine and merch articles were also designed in the new look. In addition, a comprehensive CD guideline offers guidelines for the independent design implementation by the FCBB regarding means of communication within the regular handling of the match days. Corresponding graphic templates and master files cover all creative assets, from announcement of match days via flyers and posters in advance, to communication at the match days with magazines, screen graphics and clap banners, to social media graphics.
