Fiat Punto as guest at the MTV Freshers Night

As part of the cooperation regarding the special Fiat Punto MTV Edition model both companies gave away a Freshers Night party with the band Frida Gold as well as the DJs Teddy O and Hannah Hansen. The lucky winner was a student from the University of Freiburg who brought the MTV Freshers Night to the university town in the Black Forrest.
Millhaus was responsible for the on-site appearance of the Fiat Punto. Guest could roll a dice for free drinks and the „Italian Love Lounge“, a Fiat Punto with closed satin curtains rocking softly all night, left much space for imagination.

Arnette IN YOUR FACE skateboard clips are done - now it’s time for celebration!

For the eyewear manufacturer Arnette, Millhaus is organizing the approach to the European surf and skate scene. Arnette has dedicated the last few months to supporting the new generation of European skateboarders and surfers to show the world out there that Europe rocks! The IN YOUR FACE video competition kicked off in spring 2010 to give rookies from Germany, France, Italy and Spain the opportunity to produce their own professional video part. To take part, all skateboarders had to activate up to 3 buddies, send in an idea of how their minutes of fame should look like, spots they would love to ride and skateboard footage of themselves. The best ones were chosen and the winners announced.

So far the skate video parts have been completed, thus it’s now time to party. So Millhaus, in behalf of Arnette, is organizing a premiere party in each home town of the chosen crews. The first premiere party with the guys of the Goodstuff crew in Munich was a full success. So now their competitors from Barcelona, Paris and Vicenza are vying to top that!

The videos will be released online on the Arnette Europe Facebook page on November 1st. From then on the full-length video parts cannot only be watched but can also be rated. The crew that gets most votes will then be sent onto an all-inclusive skate trip to the home of Arnette, to California.

Fiat 500 supports the Musikexpress Style Award

Fiat 500 combines mobility and style like almost no other model within the compact car segment. So it‘s no surprise that the Italian car manufacturer now supports the Musikexpress Style Award in Berlin. On the 18th of October 2010 national and international fashion labels and artist were honored for the 6th time at the Palais der Kulturbrauerei.
Millhaus was commissioned to realize the appearance of the Fiat 500 at the location and to develop THE gadget for all speakers, winners and guests of the event. The result was the Fiat 500 moustache which not only Rolf Schneider, famous juror of „Germany‘s Next Topmodel“, was wearing proudly on stage but also many of the other guests who liked the funny, hairy accessory and had many pictures taken of themselves wearing them.
At the Fiat 500 retro smoking area guests were able to enjoy a cigarette in a stylish surrounding and at the end of the night VIPs like Natalia Avelon, Jana Pallaske and the Brits from HURTS were happy to take the Fiat 500 shuttle home.
There are more pictures from stars with their hairy companion at the Musikexpress gallery on the Millhaus facebook website.

Fiat 500 by Diesel at KaDeWe/Berlin

Fiat 500 and Diesel are connected by a long-lasting partnership.
The newest project of their cooperation is the „Disconnect“ campaign. Both brands point out the „getting back to the basics“of life and the value of true friendship in the age of Web 2.0. A promotional part of the campaign is the jointly designed area at the atrium of the KaDeWe in Berlin as part of the Berliner Fashion Week.
Millhaus was commissioned to get the campaign out „on the street“ by using different tools and gadgets.
The result of a short, intensive internal brainstorming session was the following: the set up of a classic, analog photo booth, which did not only look oldschool but also develops proper photos. Even though the wait for the developing took „everlasting“ four minutes, this gave the visitors time to reflect on the day or encourage conversations. And the bigger the joy was when they finally got the original, rare present.
As a further controversial giveaway a bird whistle (nowadays also called offline communication device) was created and distributed to the visitors as the only real Twitter.

Bright impressions

As we announced earlier, Millhaus realised a booth for Arnette at Bright, the tradeshow for streetwear, skateboarding and sneakers in Berlin. Here are some pictures of the cage and the gorilla, who made some “trouble” in the whole building, gave some branded bananas to the visitors and created lots of awareness for Arnette. More impressions can be seen at the gallery of Millhaus on facebook. Take a look, it’s worth it!

Fiat 500 Pic Nic 2010

Since the launch of the new edition of the Fiat 500 in 2007, Millhaus has been responsible for the conception and execution of BTL projects. On occasion of the third birthday of the sympathetic compact car, Fiat invited everyone – like in 2008 - for a Pic Nic in “Italy’s most northern city”.
On the 4th of July drivers, fans & friends of the Fiat 500 celebrated together at the “Haus der Kunst” in Munich. A total of 500 Guzzini designer picnic baskets, filled with products by partners such as San Pellegrino, Campari, Ramazotti, Feinkost Farnetani and the local cafe “der Laden”, were handed out to the public. After not even half an hour all baskets were gone but everyone carried on celebrating all day under a perfect blue sky.
Millhaus was responsible for the complete coordination of the event: from event concept and production of the picnic blankets, print material, bottle opener and huge balloons to PR, on-site event coordination and video documentation.
Here are a few event pictures and the video.

Bright Tradeshow in Berlin - Millhaus realizes booth for Arnette.

From June 8th to 10th, the 11th Bright Tradeshow takes place. Therefor the fair for skateboarding, streetwear and sneakers moves into new rooms, which have as much charm as the Alte Polizeipräsidium in Frankfurt before - the former headquarter of the secret police in Berlin!

Of course Millhaus is at the Bright, too! We’ll meet up with some partners, athletes and friends, check out the trends for the upcoming season and realize a booth for our client Arnette.
For this purpose Millhaus picks up the gorilla theme Arnette uses since several years. The booth turns into a giant cage, the cute hostess turns into a lazy gorilla…

We invite you to visit us at the cage, eat a banana and check out the 2010 eyewear collection of Arnette.

Millhaus for Arnette at the 1st Munich Surffestival

The 1st Munich Surffestival took place from 4th-6th of June at the Forum of the Deutsche Museum. Various exhibitors from Germany and Austria showed their products on over 500 m2. Movie premieres, an indoor skatepark, BBQ and a big party were all part of the extensive program. Around 3500 surf fans visited the festival during the three day event.
Millhaus implemented the appearance of sunglasses producer Arnette together with the event organizer, Honolulu Events from Hamburg. Visitors of the surffestival were invited to create their own individual T-Shirts for free at the Arnette booth – with a great choice of different prints, colors and design. This treat was very welcomed by the public and drew huge crowds.
