Millhaus realizes campaign for the launch of the new Lancia Ypsilon.

The new Lancia Ypsilon has been available in Germany since the beginning of July. To not only address the motor press but the target group directly, Millhaus developed an event concept for the German market.
Model for this was the international campaign „Luxury is no privilege. Luxury is: …“, which defines luxury as the small things in life.

For the kick-off, Berlin’s most important locations were covered with claims such as „Luxury is Freedom“, sprayed on the ground with charcoal to create awareness for the campaign and the new model.
On 28th of July the first lifestyle event took place at the Lancia Café in Berlin themed as „My Luxury Lounge“ with VIPs, artists and many others. Guest such as Jeanette Biedermann, Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht or Enie van de Meiklokjes experienced a relaxed get-together in an Italian atmosphere.

Three weeks later the second event took place at Heart Club in Munich. 150 guests from TV, art and the Munich local scene as well as clients of the Munich dealers had a cozy evening that was all about luxury. Besides others, Heiner Lauterbach and Florian Odendahl came around and tried to secretly push the car out of the location.

Besides the concept, Millhaus was responsible for the entire realization of the campaign.
Further impressions of the campaign can be found on the facebook gallery or in the clip on www.luxus-ist.de.

One of a kind trophies by Millhaus.

As part of the realization of the Oakley sponsorship of the ITU Triathlon Worldseries, Millhaus created special trophies which did not only attract attention at the local prize giving but will certainly stand out at the „Hall of Fame“ at the winner’s home, as they are definitely different to any other trophies.

The trophies were created for the different locations - Madrid, Kitzbühel, Hamburg and London – with the local themes in mind.
Even though having just completed a strenuous competition in 1500m swimming, 43km cycling and a 10km run (best times around 1:50h!!), all recipients held their trophies proudly in the air - a delight for media and spectators alike.
Here some selected impressions from Hamburg and London.

HIGH FIVE Workshops started

The non-profit organization HIGH FIVE, founded by Millhaus employees, started with this year’s summer workshops.
The starting event was a Get Together at one of Munich’s Skateparks on occasion of the Go Skateboarding Day, which takes place every year on the 21st of June to encourage skaters all over the world to go riding together. Over the next two months HIGH FIVE offers weekly skateboarding workshops in various parts of the city, together with 9 youth centers in Munich.

Furthermore HIGH FIVE cooperated with the Rock Your Life e.V. concerning a workshop day. Rock Your Life qualifies university students to volunteer as coaches who accompany students leaving school at the age of 14 on their way into the working world. The reason behind this two year relationship is to support the students individually, encourage them to widen their perspectives and to discover hidden potential. Besides Graffiti and Breakdance courses, the HIGH FIVE skateboard workshop was definitely the highlight of the day.

Over 2500 delighted guests at the Fiat 500 Pic Nic at Haus der Kunst in Munich

The traditional Fiat 500 Pic Nic, realized by Millhaus on Sunday 3rd of July for the third year, was a success! Reason for the big celebration was the 4th birthday of the new model of the Italian classic car. Many Pic Nic friends and Fiat 500 fans wanted one of the popular GUZZINI designer baskets filled with Italian delicacies. Even though the sky wasn’t quite blue, the rush for the baskets was huge - and therefore the baskets were gone in no time.
The guests ate and drank on the stylish terrace of the Haus der Kunst and in the English Garden. An exhibition on the parking lot showed classic car models, cars of the PicNic guests and the fan club as well as special editions. Especially the new Fiat 500 TwinAir with its environmentally friendly petrol engine was of high interest to the visitors.
DJ Explizit at the turntables ensured great music all day long.

DriveNow Car Sharing Launch in Munich

A fancy car, a filled tank and never again having to pay for parking. The magic word is car sharing – that is: flexible use of a vehicle without having to own it. The new car sharing project ‚DriveNow’ by BMW i, MINI and Sixt makes this possible. From now on there are 150 vehicles available in the city center of Munich, the service will be upgraded to 300 cars within the next months.

Millhaus was responsible for all marketing activities up to the launch of the car sharing joint ventures and generated – due to a clearly outlined launch concept, creative input, active support and motivated promotion staff – curiosity and a huge interest within the Munich community.

Center of attention: the „walking“ car door which could be found with its distinctive logo e.g. on city lights all over Munich, or as „live performance“ with twenty young men in black overalls carrying the car doors through the city center - without any clues to the purpose or intention. The meaning of the car door as a symbol for a new, simple way of car sharing was revealed at the launch event, implemented by Millhaus, at the BMW Pavillon at Lenbachplatz in Munich.

More info regarding DriveNow and its innovative mobility concept on the DriveNow website. Furthermore pictures of all activities surrounding the launch can be found on the facebook page.

Travelling with the Fiat Freestyle Team…

Action sports and travelling belong together. Might it be travelling to contests or trips to hot spots such as Hossegor, Barcelona or Laax – collective experiences and adventures bring about memories and stories which will still be told around the fire place long after. Many times the saying „the journey is the destination“ becomes true and the classic car road trip (spending a lot of time, lots of kilometers on the highway, not much space, hardly any planning) has definitely more to offer than modern airplane city-hopping.

Millhaus took up on that thought and developed the „Roadtrippin‘“ competition for the Fiat Freestyle Team. The ingredients for a perfect road trip will be given away on facebook. The winner will get a FIAT Doblò for 30 days with which he can drive up to 5000kms to his personal hot spots around Europe together with his friends. Besides that, there will be 1000 € pocket money for petrol, road toll or an ice cream at a service station.
